A Warehouse Distributor Member of HDAC is defined as a Heavy Duty Distributor who is primarily engaged in the distribution and sale of heavy duty truck and trailer parts in Canada and is established as a heavy duty parts, ‘Warehouse Distributor’, herein after referred to as a ‘WD’, and shall be elected to membership in accordance with the provisions of the By-Laws as defined by the following criteria:
- The WD applicant must have been in business for a period of not less than three (3) years in the distribution of heavy-duty truck & trailer parts.
- The WD applicant must purchase the majority of his product requirements directly from the parts manufacturers or through a buying group that is not owned or operated by an original equipment vehicle manufacturer.
An Associate Member shall be a business which manufacturers and/or supplies heavy duty truck and trailer parts to WDs in the Canadian Aftermarket for a minimum period of three years.
TERM OF MEMBERSHIP
The term of membership shall be for a period of one year, and shall be automatically renewed each fiscal year, at the prevailing Membership rate as provided for in the By-Laws of HDAC.
